Payments
Once you’ve finished building your survey, go to the Review tab on the Build Survey screen.
Review Your Study Details
This page will display a summary of your survey, including:
Total number of respondents
Estimated incidence
Number of questions
Based on this information, the platform will automatically calculate the cost of your sample.
You’ll also have the opportunity to review or update your audience settings and confirm any variable quotas you’ve set before moving forward.
Checkout and Payment
On the same page, you’ll see a Checkout button. When you click Checkout, you’ll be shown the final price that will be charged for your study before launch.
For all DIY users, the default payment option is credit card. You’ll be prompted to:
Enter an email address to receive the payment receipt.
Add your credit card information.
Click Pay and Launch to process payment and go live.
Once payment is complete, your survey will launch immediately, and you’ll begin seeing respondents come in in real time.
Invoice Payment Option
If you’re part of an enterprise organization and would prefer to pay by invoice rather than credit card, we can enable that option for you.
Please reach out to our team, and we’ll toggle on invoice billing and help set up payment terms under a Master Services Agreement (MSA).
Notes on Soft Launch and Respondent Removal
If you are paying with credit card and follow our soft launch guidelines, starting with a smaller sample to confirm that everything is working properly, you’ll need to pay again when you increase the sample size to reach your full goal. Each launch is billed based on the total number of respondents collected.
Additionally, while there are cases where respondents can be removed due to quality issues (see our full article on Removing Respondents), most respondents recruited through the platform are billable. You’ll typically be charged for all completed responses unless they meet the specific criteria for quality removal.
Pro Tip: If you are having a Glass researcher run any of the phases of your research, reach out directly through the platform chat or by emailing your Director to get that setup. The platform itself does not commission serviced work.
