Navigating the Platform - Inside a Specific Survey
When you click on a survey in the ‘Your Surveys’ main dashboard, you’ll be taken to a new page that’s unique to that individual survey. At the top, you’ll see a green navigation bar with two main tabs: Build Survey and Analyze Results. Each tab opens a different workspace for managing or reviewing your project.
Build Survey
This is where you create and configure your survey before launch. On the left-hand side, you’ll see five icons — each representing a section of the build process.
Overview Name or rename your survey, set the total number of respondents, and define your expected incidence rate. These settings help control the overall speed of fieldwork.
Audience Select which sample you want to use for the project and set demographic quotas as needed. This is where you manage targeting to ensure your results reflect the desired audience mix.
Questions You’ll spend most of your time here. Add, edit, or reorder questions, adjust the flow, and apply logic. You can also set terminations or quotas for non-demographic criteria or create custom variables based on combinations of questions/responses. See more information here.
Customize Modify respondent-facing elements like messages, button text (“Next,” “Done,” etc.), or even add emojis. You can also adjust language or tone to match your brand voice.
Review Get a summary of your survey before launch — including total question count, quotas in place, and a preview link. You can export the questionnaire, review cost details, and select a payment method. See more information here.
Pro Tip: Use the Review tab as your final checklist before launching. It’s the easiest way to ensure your quotas, logic, and audience settings are accurate.
Analyze Results
Once your survey is in-field and collecting responses, switch to the Analyze Results tab (also in the top green bar). This section helps you monitor progress and dive into your data once results start coming in.
On the left-hand side, you’ll see four icons that organize your analysis tools:
Analytics View the overall survey summary — including total completes, total population, and any progress against quotas. You’ll also see individual question-level data visualized here.
Summary Reports Download key files such as the questionnaire, raw data, and SPSS exports.
Build Crosstab Set up, save and export cross-tabs with or without statistical tests to uncover deeper insights. See more information here.
Exports Access all generated reports and click the download button for your completed files.
Pro Tip: Once you’re comfortable with the layout, “Analyze Results” becomes your real-time data command center. You can check progress, build reports, and export everything from one place.
