Navigating the Platform - Main Menu

When you log in to Glass, you’ll land on the Home Page Dashboard– your central hub for managing your work with Glass. The Your Surveys tab (at left) shows all of your current and past projects, and helps you track what’s in progress and what’s been launched.

Two Tabs

At the top of the dashboard, you’ll see two tabs:

  • Drafts: This is where you’ll build and see WIP surveys before launch. You can edit questions, set up logic, define your audience, and preview before going live.

  • Launched: These are surveys that are in-field or completed. You’ll see status updates, response progress, and can jump into the survey link from here.

What You’ll See in Each Row

Each survey listed (in both tabs) includes the following at-a-glance details:

  • Survey Name

  • Date Created

  • Owner (who built or manages the survey)

In the Launched tab, you’ll also see:

  • Status: Either In-Field or Complete

  • Progress Bar: Tracks how many responses have been collected so far

In the Drafts  tab, you’ll also see:

  • Status: On this tab will always be Draft

  • Target Number of Respondents

  • Number of Questions (range) in the current version

Actions Menu

On the right side of each survey listed in ‘Your Surveys’, click the three-dot menu to:

  • Duplicate Survey – A great way to reuse templates or build on a previous version

  • Create Survey Template – Makes the current survey into a template survey to be saved in your Template Library

  • Delete Survey –  Removes the project from your dashboard (only available for drafts)

Pro Tip: Use "Duplicate" to create templated workflows for things like ad testing, concept testing, or quarterly reports. Also see the articles on Waves for details about running the same survey across time periods or samples for ongoing data collection into the same dataset.

Search Bar

Use the search bar at the top of the page to quickly find a survey by keyword in its title.

Pro Tip: Add tags to surveys in order to find/ group them more easily.  You can add a tag when setting-up a survey the first time, or by clicking ‘Add Tag’ underneath any survey in the’Your Surveys’ main dashboard.
